I wanted to make this video because I saw a clip on YouTube from Squid Game Season 2 where the main character returns to the game and tries to warn everybody in the game that they will get killed if they loose in the game and that the game is real. At first the contestants reaction reminds me of Søren Kirkegårds quote;

A fire broke out backstage in a theatre. The clown came out to warn the public; they thought it was a joke and applauded. He repeated it; the acclaim was even greater. I think that’s just how the world will come to an end: to general applause from wits who believe it’s a joke.

It is a hard truth that when you really know something deep and fundamental about reality and you try to share it with others they will initially laugh you to scorn. I think that this symbolic pattern is a fundamental message that this clip from Squid Game reflects. Also, the title of the tv-series closely depicts the symbolism of its message.

The symbols of the squid game is also important to notice. In ancient scripture the body is represented by the square, the mind as a triangle and the soul as a circle. This is no coincidence that these symbols correlate with squid game. I actually had to record this short section of the video and include it after I found these pictures just to emphasize my point I was already making. In the picture of the squid game symbol we see the body, the square being separated from the mind the triangle and therefore there are two souls, one attached to the mind and one attached to the body. This is symbolic of the modern overly rational culture which prioritizes rational functions of the mind over the body and the soul. Therefore this leads to double-mindedness. Which means a conflict within. One thinks one thing with the mind and does another thing in contradiction with the body because of double-mindedness.

In the second picture we see the symbolic depiction of the mind dragging the body, which is not alive in spirit which leads to the death of the soul also.

In Biblical cosmology, hands or arms represent ability and feet represent understanding.

The squid has a lot of ability, which is represented by its 8 arms. but no understanding because it has no feet. It is caught in emotions or the unconscious, which is represented by the water it lives in. The squid represents navigating the unconscious only with ability and without wisdom about what lies beyond the water. Squids also spray ink, which is a reflection of that the animal projects its shadow (the black ink) unto others as a defense mechanism.

The symbol the animal depicts in squid game is how it is regularly conceived that one can climb the economic hierarchy using one’s ability like a squid can swim upward by thrusting its arms down. But as soon as the squid lays downs its arms it sinks toward the ocean ground. It is an animal that represents only using the mind as the 8 arms are like extensions of the mind, but without having no conception about the existence of the body.

Most people build technical skills that are demanded in society, so many people get interested in pursuing the skills because there is an economic incentive or some kind of prestige or social status to achieve. It can also be because their interest is caught on by something that reflects spiritual value to some degree, but is still twisted into mundane uninspiring tasks in the actual work. Like a programmer can be attracted to how logical functions make up a software, but he never wonders how his own mind is programmed. I like the saying that the programmer does not have to know how the computer is made to be able to program, the same is true that we do not have to know what we are, but we can program ourselves to become something. The problem is most have no feet on the ground and there is no real understanding in why they should learn a specific skill other than it is in demand in society.

Our education system is really not focused on the individuation process at all, but it rather tries to shape you into fitting into a specific box so you are easier to handle. I think that sometimes the world actually can shape towards your conception if you have looked deep enough and that is when you can become a light to the world. My point is that we are mostly not taught to look within for answers or ability, but it is something that is offered outside oneself as a specific skill that fits society. Cooperations can simulate the acts of suffering for a price, prestige or a made-up role, and it does awaken something in people, but if they do not work with their true spirit towards individuating, it is work done for nothing in some sense.

When you get a broader understanding of society and understand that everyone are chasing the wrong thing there is a deep desire to communicate to your fellow human beings that they need to wake up.

I have watched all of season 1, which is basically about waking up in consciousness while being in the system of chasing material things, and seeing souls perish from people as they loose games. Season 1 reveals the inner workings that all work for material things are kind of games just as a game in the school yard. Now they are revealed as the inner workings of society that society uses people’s natural mode for play to chase material things instead of learning spiritual truth. I really want to emphasize that true play is the deepest in human beings and it is a form of love

Instead of focusing on season 1 I want to make a comment on a clip of season 2 where player 456 is back in the game. He wants to warn all the people that have signed up from the beginning that they are really getting killed if they move during the red light green light game.

This means that because they chose the path of the system of taking an education and getting a job it became their only conception and reality of how to make money. When they are in this system (mental state) there will come periods of green light and periods of red light because of the natural fluctuations in psychological and emotional states. These fluctuations are represented by the little girl who looks at all the contestants during the game. Her back is turned towards them and this is a shadow representation. She represents the repressed playful child that focus her vision on errors with real consequences instead of consequences of play. She becomes the negative anima that points out errors in society instead of focusing on her own individuation. She stands against the tree of life and when she turns away she is deadly.

The symbolism of being killed means that they go to sleep and become unconscious because their hopes and dreams of wealth that they overly value have become their target instead of searching for spiritual truth. Death here can also be to not let the soul live and let it grow through the individuation process and thus becoming a better person. A good person is not someone who obliges to the system and rules, but someone who understands the underlying truth. This underlying truth tries to reveal messages of the unconscious to oneself and this can also be messages to one’s fellow human beings. The message is, follow your inner path that is set out for you, each day you remember what you should do, but each day you stall it for the next day. Think of each day as the last as your day will end and you go to sleep, but you are reborn to a new day. Treat each day as your are a different human being that has a different goal to complete and the compilation of all the people we are from every day work are all working toward becoming a better person to oneself and to the world and every people. This is the real game to play. Not any made up rules of how to conform to society.

I took a master’s degree and thought that I could just have the education as a good way to get a good job in case I don’t make it as a musician or YouTuber as I always wanted. But why not going for things that I always want instead of stalling them. Luckily, I started reading more heavy in philosophy, jungian psychology and scripture to get a broader conception of reality.

These videos is a way to remember what I am doing and maybe remind others of their message.

The underlying interest that guided me came from a much deeper place than I could conceive of and I always felt that I wasn’t were I am supposed to be while I’m taking my education. This has nothing to do with the education or any institution, but it is about the lack of individuation in conforming to others reality instead of searching within. As soon as I searched for a broader understanding a whole new world opened up to me that is difficult to explain. I was caught in my own mind and luckily I am free now.

I really wanted to share the revelation I found with someone the first year after my spiritual awakening, but I learned eventually that people need to find it themselves, but I hope to guide people with these kinds of video. This is the message I am reminded of from the clip from squid game.
